The confrontation between Kakashi and Kashin Koji made fans very excited.

1. Kashin Koji is looking for data on a ninja, maybe Jiraiya?

Kashin Koji is still in Konoha, but his whereabouts have left a mark because Kashin Koji is in a hurry to carry out his own mission. He is looking for data on a very secretive ninja, but from his confrontation with Kakashi, we know that the data he is looking for is from before the Fourth Ninja World War. This data is still saved in the form of a ninja scroll, not according to modern technology.

Koji is looking for data on old era ninjas that Shikadai thinks are probably "retired", and some of them are dead. So they wondered why the mysterious man was trying to steal data on the old generation ninjas.

Is Kashin Koji looking for data and information about Jiraiya - who is his original origin.

2. With the help of Team InoShikaCho, Kakashi found Kashin Koji

Team 10 or Team Moegi happened to be at the location when Kakashi was chasing a mysterious person in Konoha. So Kakashi asked for their help and discovered an interesting fact that the mysterious man was looking for ninja data.

Kakashi also planned and predicted this man's purpose until he met Kashin Koji.

3. Kakashi's short battle with Kashin Koji

Kashin Koji certainly didn't want to show his face and didn't explain his purpose to Kakashi when questioned. Kakashi attacked Koji because he was clearly an illegal intruder who could harm Konoha. But Koji doesn't want to get involved in the fight, he just tries to run away from this fight, and even uses frog techniques to escape.

Because of this incident, Kakashi increasingly wondered who this mysterious figure was, (Kakashi Merch). This is interesting, we will see Kakashi more involved in the anime when he doesn't appear in the manga at all.
